The DWP course is an intense weeklong program that teaches you the basics of underwater archeology. The programs consist of one day of instruction on Trilateration mapping and Is-Situ drawing, and working with tools and the study guide to Sailing Ship Artifacts of the 19th Century

Next putting what they learn to the test on land. Here we layout a wreck site where students are partner up and will map the using the tools cover in class. The tool is tape measure, pin flags, Datum Point, Slate, ruler, compass, and data sheets.

In the water; the students will be working about a 6’ x 6' section of the site. During course you can spend up to an hour and half surveying the wreck.

After three days of diving and debriefs; the students will transfer all data to a master drawing of the wreck site.
